I just had to resurrect this thread.
Found a couple stingray hood dealers for '69 Chevelle, copo.com, vfnfiberglass, and Legendary Car Inc.. Wondered if anyone had obtained a hood from one of these dealers, and could expand on quality, fit, and especially a "rough underside" vs. an underside that's been fully finished,...and price. Thanks, Edward. (...putting a 427 in my '69 and tossing around ideas) |

If Joe G. chimes in here, he can tell you all about his one owner 69 Motion Phase-III 396-375HP Chevelle. His car came wih the Stinger Hood when new from Motion. It was replaced when we restored his car in NJ, with a new VFN Stinger Hood. Quality is very good top and bottom. The original hood was bowed (warped) so a new hood was in order. The VFN hood fit very well. Try a search in the Baldwin/Motion section for Joe G. 69 Motion Chevelle, and there are some pictures taken at the shop I worked at while Joes 69 was being restored.........(musclecarkid)
