I have looked in my copy of CBTN 65-69 for you. 9f23 seems to mean June 23rd 1969
The 63a tells us that it is rated at 63 amps. Alans book does not list this number, and it shows no application for a 63 amp alternator on a Chevrolet passenger car for 69. It may be a shortcoming of Alan's book, but possibly it means that the alternator is for a truck or for a different GM division. I also looked in the 69 Shop manual, and the number is not listed in there either.
