I think the car has the rare 4 wheel drive option, much rarer than the JL8 he sold. The window sticker is a reprint. Every original 69 BBCamaro I have owned or seen.. whether auto or 4spd had smog.

Not only is the sticker too crisp, the printing is different than the originals.
Ken, if you get the chance send some pic's of the 12,000 mile L-78 you have.......Joel |

Another 2 cents.....The sticker is missing
the six digit code under the Chevrolet Motor Division (middle top of the sticker) that is a number that is also on the top of the cowl tag. I don't see RPO 5JL8LJ, so that x's out a 4-wheel disc car. But we weren't there when the car was built, so the master cyl. could have found its way into the engine bay by shortage or whatever. That brings a question to mind: Any SS's or COPO's with the JL-8 brakes? |

I'll never understand why people with $40,000+ Camaros can't spring for the $100 stripe stencil kit.

A car of this Caliber really does need a "Caution Fan" sticker on the fan shroud for that perfect finishing touch.
