Yes,I purchased it. The Yenko Deuce looks similar to this months feature car sans the mag wheels. The main reason I purchased it is that there is a nice picture of a familiar/similar Dover White Double COPO which is near and dear to my heart. The Daytona Yenko and Blue RS ZL1 are also familiar as well as are a few others. The books mentioned by shor and Diego are much better and in a different league in my opinion, but have been around for years and I have both in my library. I just had never seen this particular book. The author is still trying to figure out the number of 1969 Yenko Camaros, but he is quite certain that it is between 100 and 201.

Several if not most of the Otis Chandler cars pictured in American Muscle are now in Kevin Suydam's collection (he goes by 'supercars' here on this bbs).

SHOR, above, is right on! The AMERICAN MUCSCLE book is tops; It is hard to keep it sitting on my library shelf without looking at almost weekly. The writer has a unique way of expressing the awesome power of these supercars. My favorite is "SCARING MORTALS INTO THE NEXT LIFE" (Phase III Camaro). Along with the great photo shoots, this book will be hard to beat even as more Musclecar books are published.

I was not at that auction and do not think my Dover White Douglass, redone as a Berger Doulbe COPO was there. If my memory serves correct, Mr. Gasser's White/Blue interior former COPO was there?

It's interesting to see different opinions on these books. I think Otis Chandler's book is cool for the collection that is contained between the covers, but the pictures try to be too artsy-fartsy, and personally the text makes me sleepy. It feels like it was written by a journalist, not a car guy. I want to see cars in good light and in good detail, not some shot in a dark alley. Still, it's a great book to have.
