Joe C
on the air filter is the wire mesh diamond shape ? Is that what is correct for a 68-69? They are repoducing a square mesh one. When did they start using those? |

In the ebay picture it looks like diamond shape wire mesh. The ad claims mold raised numbers instead of silk screen. I am not sure if that is correct for 1969.

I believe square mesh is correct, I lost a point at the Vette Fest for having a filter with diamond mesh on my 69 Chevelle!

Don't believe everything you see on ebay. Do you really think someone would pay close to that amount.

One of the bidders is a Camaro parts vendor so it makes you wonder if he was bidding it up or if he really wanted a correct pair to put on his ZL1. Still an insane price.

On the air filter, the Paragon catalog that sells corvette parts shows the diamond mesh air filter ( they call it bias cut mesh )
66-70 all with open air cleaner. They show the square cut fitting 71-72 with open air cleaner. I need one for my 69 copo and wasnt sure which one to get. |
