Peter does nice work. Would'nt be scared to look at anything he has for sale. I'd still want to see paperwork, no matter who it is!

Go to inventory and then 70 LS-6. Is this the same Carolina Blue car he recently had? I thought that one was a bucket seat car with documentation and he was asking $39K for it. I have the info at home to compare to.

It could be confusing as it states, "equipped with a correct numbers matching 454/450 hp LS-6 engine". Makes you wonder if it it the original or not. Appears alternator may have also been replaced by the looks of the pulley. It also has SS door marquis and none of my Baltimore 454 build sheets that I have show the B-22 code.

With that being said, Peter has always come across as being one of the most honest restorers out there. He certainly doesn't have to fabricate a car to make money!

Any time I see "#'s matching" statement vs original drivetrain....I assume it's just that!

That is the same car that I used to own. I sold it to the Infamous Dave Simpson. I think it made the Cover of Muscle car Review with Simpson driving it. At the time, Simpson supplied MCR several cars for a Shootout and the Chevelle won. Someone has added the stripes over the orig. paint. It is the orig. drivetrain but the block has been decked and is very hard to make out what is there. I traced the orig. owner that is listed on the build sheet and he confirmed everything about the car. He is the one that had it decked as he used to rebuild it periodcally as he drag raced it. He parked it when it got hard to get good gas. He sold it in 89 for 6000.00 with a Trailer as I recall.
