I sniff out, you are a DWEEB, with nothing better to do! Why dont you spend some time putting your car back together, that is still in boxes, or sell your old newspapers for a few bucks. Obviously you could use the money! Merry Christmas Warren. Love, Supersport.

Supersport,
Sounds like you a very frustrated man, or maybe just jealous. We don't need losers like you around here. Take it from me, your time would be best spent, in some third world country with your wanna be cars. Maybe you can fool somebody there! I'll bet you were a loser in high school, or didn't you make that far!!!!!! Did the info from the article I sent you on the brown 69 Camaro body #155017 help you sell it? I see its not for sale on Ebay anymore. Would like to point out, if you had a very low reserve, and I mean extremely low, I might have wanted it as a parts car. So Supersport in closing, why dont you try to make friends somewhere else, as you do not have any here!!!!!!!!!! Warren PS Just for the record, the only thing of mine that swings both ways, is my clock pendulum, just incase you were using "Love" as a come on. |

Has anyone had any luck using this approach to find a car? It is time consuming looking through old newspaper classifieds but may produce a lead or two. What do you guys think?
Mike P.S. Warren, I think it is an interesting post. [Edited by MikeA (12-24-2001 at 09:31 AM).]

Hi Mike!
I got this idea after reading ChrisS posting on Advertisement for Yenko/Nickey cars. Never know, might jar a few memories, or fill in a few blanks on a cars history. Every piece of info is important, and was hoping to get intelligent feedback such as yours. My COPO car was advertised in the Penny Saver a New York based paper, back around 1972-73. I myself wouldn't mind getting a copy of the ad, as that should lead me to the original owner. I could use the phone number as a starting point. I've been told libraries have phone books in their archives, and that would be the first place I would look. Warren |

It would be worth a try. Who knows what you might turn up, even though it would be a long shot. What is the story on #155017?..BKH

Hi BKH!
The only thing I can say about #155017, is it wouldn't be anything I would be proud to own. Wouldn't it be great if Chevrolet came out with the info on the cars such as Pontiac does? Then again, the owners of cars that are not worthy wouldn't be to happy now would they! Warren |
