To the best of my knowledge #15 was Harrell's race car. Years ago Bill Porterfield told me he knew for sure it still exists.
The '67 Z/28 is long gone, last seen on ebay a few weeks ago. Guess it sold again.

William,
That is good news! So far I have confirmed 13-14 cars attributed to Dick Harrell as his personal race cars. I have also found at least 5 other cars sponsored by him, and driven by others. I still have my other Z, am trying to confirm it may have raced against Little Hoss in 1967-8. It came from Moline, Il., raced at Cordova, I think. 2nd owner(who wrenched on it for the original owner) is Roger Davis, does anyone know him? Builds rear-ends in Moline. I have his old # but can't locate him now. |

Yup, that was it. Doug sold it to Jim Dyer Nov 97. From there it went to Michigan, Florida, Maryland. Wasn't quite finished when sold.
Saw it and the ZL1 regularly for 10 years. Neither Doug nor I ever drove either one.
