What is the date on that window sticker? If it is very late in 1969 maybe the car was given a low price to move it after the high cost of insurance started to cause problems for Yenko sales.

There are no dates on the window stickers, but the bill of sale from Yenko to Bob Johnson Chev. is dated July 3, 1969.

This is somewhat off topic, for this thread, but on topic for a proevious discussion regarding the meaning of sYc.

Note the window sticker for the 67 lists the company as Yenko Sportscars Inc, while the car is referred to as a "Yenko Super Camaro"

Marlin, my Chevelle is getting close. I put the body on the frame the day before I came to the reunion. (It has about 2,800 hours in it now.) I plan on having it at next years reunion.
To answer your other queston, tons of paperwork, thanks to the folks on this sight I was able to find the orginal owner, who had kept everything!!
By the way I stopped in Nashville to see Cliff, he was just finishing a 427 green Nova. Have you herd about?

James;
What color green was the Nova that Cliff was working on, Fathom Green or Rallye Green?

Marlin, it is Fathom Green, Black interior, Black vinal top and a 427. I fell in love with this one. When I get my pictures back I will E-Mail you some copies. He also has his Red Deuce in Chevy High Performance magazine.
