Default Re: 69 COPO chevelle buildsheet

I bought our COPO Chevelle new in August '69. It is a 9566AA car with the MQ engine, 4 speed and KQ rear end. Information that I got through the dealer in early calendar year '69 was somewhat vague and confused. We were told that the cars were to come with 15" wheels, a track suspension, and cold air induction. The engine horsepower wasn't given. The 15" wheels where probably the 9737 COPO option. The suspension on our car was standard SS396, not even F40. The cold air induction was probably referring to that which came on the Camaros and did not show up on the Chevelles. Our car came with the SS wheels and 14" F70 Uniroyal white lettered tires. All the Canadian COPO Chevelles that I have info on were 9566AA cars. 1001HA shows up on some build sheets and not others. ZP1, ZP8, ZV6, and ZN1 options show up with no information as to what they are. 9562 and 9737 seem to go hand in hand.

Chevelleless after 46 years......but we did find a low mileage, six speed, silver 2005 Corvette. It will just have to do for now.
