I think I have broken the codes. Ok, follow me now. After reveiwing all my build sheets, I've concluded that the 9562??, must have been for the Yenkos, because none of my COPO build sheets have it, they're all 9566??, make sence? As for the F CARROLL, never seen that before, is there a dealer, by that name? The 6B1591, is the Specail order#, as referance to block#60. ..Even with block#7 missing, look at block#28, "HF CX", all you have to do, is look real close. MIKE

Anyone know the dealer this car went to? Looks like zone 35 and dealer 613.

Its possibly the customers name that ordered it since it was a special order. Not really related, but when I worked for a boat manufacturer we had build sheets and they would have a customer name on them if they were a special order instead of a regular dealer order, similar to what is on the COPO buildsheets, they have a dealer and zone, but never names other than the box where it is at most of the time.

There is a Carolina Blue LS6 Chevelle for sale out there that I used to own that has the customers name on the build sheet. I even called information and found him . Was kinda fun.

I have not seen a COPO Chevelle build sheet with the 9562 number except for a Yenko but that does not mean that there were none. I would not say that all the COPO Chevelles used the 9566 number for two reasons. One reason is because a dealer like Berger, who knew about YenkoĂs COPO 9737 Sports Car Conversion, may have ordered it on some of the ten COPO Chevelles they sold and the build sheet for such a car may be a 9562xx 9737. The second reason I would not say that all the COPO Chevelles used the 9566 number is because I have heard that some COPO Chevelles came with steel wheels and small hub caps instead of the more common SS wheels. The steel wheel cars may have used COPO numbers 9562EA or 9562 FA which specified a different tire then the COPO 9566AA and the 9566BA.
