Default Re: 1969 Berger Camaro Colors?

Brian, I know that they also offered red. The yellow and silver cars were ordered for the owners of berger. The yellow one was painted inhouse at their bodyshop. The silver one I was told has an upgrade to 425hp! I tried to order a huggar orange car with black striping to no avail. My only option was to pay an additional 6000 dollars for the color I wanted. Also I understand that they were recently trying to locate any 2000 ss camaros to convert to meet their expected 50 sales.

Sounds like they were 31 (not 21) years apart.

Yes, I was talking 1969 colors. I heard that the 2000 Bergers were only in blue, red or white for resale. Any truth to that? I saw a black one once that I thought was LeMans Blue. It might be the same car. It's hard to get facts straight after six month's let alone 30+ years. That's what makes this interesting.

Colors for the 69 Berger COPOS;
Daytona Yellow, Garnet Red, Glacier Blue, LeMans Blue, Dover White, Rally Green, Hugger Orange, & Cortez Silver. According to Dale Berger there were no Olympic Gold or Tuxedo Black cars ordered. There are reports of Olympic Gold cars but the paint codes have not been verified.

Color for the 2000 cars are: Red, Black, White & Blue. I have the exact number of cars of each color if any one is interested There were three special paint cars all done in house by Berger: Daytona Yellow, Millennium Yellow, & Cortez Silver. The Silver car was modified to 425 hp and there were six convertibles in the edition.

I had a chance to look at my files: There was also a 69 Berger COPO in Fathom Green.

Officially the 2000 colors were: Bright Rally Red, Onyx Black, Navy Blue Metallic, and Artic White.

All the 2000 interiors were Ebony leather.

2000 SS color breakdown:
Bright Rally Red/T/Top-7
Bright Rally Red/Conv-2
Onyx Black/T-Top-8
Onyx Black/Conv-2
Navy Blue Metallic/T-Top-4
Navy Blue Metallic/Conv-0
Artic White/T-Top-3
Artic White/Conv-1
