#233 This Daytona Yellow 69 Yenko Chevelle is B357264 and was sold new out of Holt Chevrolet in Madison WI according to the registry. This is a 4-speed car with buckets and a console. Bob Swenson purchased this car in '73 and still owns it today. Superior Quality Rides and Restoration just completed this car.

#234 This Bolero Red 67 Yenko Camaro RS/SS is N227311 and YS-722. It was sold new at Central Chevrolet in West Springfield MA. This car has the L36 with a TH400 and 3.73 gears. Matt Neiderberger purchased this car back in '90 as a parts car. It was an old race car and in '03 he came on here looking for help figuring out what he had. He thought it was maybe a Motion car. After finally posting the correct VIN it was discovered to be in the first batch of 25 SS 396 Camaros that Yenko purchased. At the time it had a small block in it, but Matt thought one of the prior owners still had some of the original parts for the car. He also talked to Warren, who had paperwork for the car as well. I didn't hear anything more about the car until '22 when Chick Renn started posting restoration pictures of this car on the Team Camaro website. This car has all of its original sheet metal and as I understand it, they were able to obtain its original transplant block as well. The stinger hood and side pipes aren't spelled out on the Yenko paperwork, but there is a charge to remove and install the exhaust as well as a charge to install hood pins. Bruce Eilenberger had this car in the Camaro Legends judging where it obtained Gold.

Thanks for posting a picture of YS722 Myron. I have had so many great experiences while attending/showing cars at MCACN. This year, several people from the West Springfield, MA area (the location of Central Chevrolet - the delivering dealer) stopped by to discuss the car. I told them that I had contacted and documented all of the previous owners except the first one. YS722 was the only red 67 Yenko delivered to Central & my hope was that it may have been unusual enough to jog someone’s memory. Well, after the show I received a couple of follow-up calls & it appears that we hit pay dirt! The original owner has unfortunately passed, but the complete ownership history of YS722 is now in the records.

Thanks to the great owners/organizers/workers of the county’s premier muscle car event - MCACN - for bringing true car enthusiasts (including many wonderful friends) together for the benefit of our hobby.

#236 This Corvette Bronze 68 Yenko Camaro SS is N482816 and YS-8063 and was sold new at E. B. Smith Chevrolet in Nashville TN. This is an 07E car and was among the last batch of Camaros purchased by Yenko in '68. This car was in the Barn Finds section in '14 and was missing its engine and transmission among other things at the time. It has since been restored, and Dennis Albaugh had it at the show this year.

Front wheel have too little back spacing? Or is it just the angle of the picture that makes it look like the tire is too far outboard?

I don't think it's the angle of the photo. All four wheels needed more backspacing. The car was sitting way too high as well.
