Thanks, Ryan and Mr70.
This is the decal I plan to use on the passenger's side inner fender with it facing up so it can be read while looking into the engine compartment. I welcome any further input on this. Thanks again. Jim |

Hello Jim,
See my answers below in red. I will definitely put the Golden Mile emblem on the left side. Yours looks great!.....good call and thanks. A few questions about your car, Paul. - Is that a Canadian oil change sticker on the right side inner fender, and do you have it placed so that you can read it looking over the right side fender?.....yes, on the RH inner fender which can be read by looking at the inner fender, above the heater hoses, see the pic. - Did you put a 180 thermostat/antifreeze decal on the left side of the core support?.....yes sir, left side, see the pic. - Do you know if your car was imported with a Canada Transport decal on the inner driver's door?.....I have never seen that sticker on a survivor car here in Canada. It was not present on the two that I had. - Is the blue colored rear license plate a dealer plate? The one on the front of my car appears to be authentic and it matches the plate number on the Used Vehicle Information Package documenting the sale from Hurst to the second owner, Peter Janda, but as you can see from the photos above, my plate is white. Were the vanity plates white? Maybe a post 1969 issue?.....the blue plates are original 1969 issued plates from the MTO (Ministry of Transportation (Ontario). If you order custom plates today, they will come with the white background and the blue fonts. Please bear with me on all the questions - it's crunch time, and the plan is to try to get everything done by tomorrow night. Battery Requirement..... I dig some digging and what I have is a Delco side post R89 original survivor battery with a cracked case from freezing. I am having issues with loading these pics. |

Yesterday, we installed the Golden Mile emblem - big thanks to Eddie - and wrapped up the rest of the to-do's except for fixing a problem with the shifter being able to be moved into reverse when the key is out.
Does anyone have any tips on adjusting the rods and idler lever that are between the steering column and the shift lever on the trans? This is addressed at M35 A9 and M35 A9.5 in the Assembly Manual. I am hoping for some input from someone who has done this before so I can get this final matter taken care of in short order so I can leave on time for MCACN. Thanks everyone! Jim |

I would say dealer emblems went on the left or driver side. That way they were readable to drivers behind or following the car
