Default 65 L79 vette

A local guy in know has this 65 Vette L79 for sale. Asking 85K, he said he got it out of North Carolina couple years ago. Silver paint looked good, I didn’t ask about the driveline.

No, the tach for the L-79 should red line at 6,000 RPM.

Does the Trim Tag on a 65 Vette tell if it’s a true side pipe car?

Not really. If it's an AO Smith trim tag, definitely not. If it's a St Louis tag, then you have to go to work
