Default LeMans Blue 69 Z on BAT

This one is a mess.

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...maro-z-28-262/

Restamped block. Supposedly assembled (looks like restamp to me) Oct. 3 and put in an 2D car. Wow. At leas it is a 386 block. It is an M casting, so no way to know the casting date.

Fake WS. Shows D80 spoiler and a rear mount antenna. Don't think so.

Horrible aftermarket door panels.

Aftermarket booster.

Later polished valve covers.

Carb is 3rd week of Nov. 68.

Seat covers and headrest covers fit horribly.

But it is shiny, in a desirable color, so I am sure it will do well.

Two of my last factual responses to specific questions about first gens have been either taken down or blocked. Guess they don't want the truth there.

Restamped pad. Spacing way off.

I read your lengthy commentary on the green COPO before it was flagged. It was entirely factual and gentlemanly. There was no legitimate reason for it to be removed.

I’ve been similarly censored there, repeatedly.

Tag is not original to that car. Probably a legit tag but it off a later car than what the VIN says.
