Are all your plug loom brackets on, I got a Dr side you can have.
I detailed the engine on my buddy’s Dk Green LT1 70 a few years back, had that extra, not easy to find the 2. Nice car!

Wow, congratulations on an amazing purchase. I think that's a dream for all of us to find something like that.

I’m not sure if I have them all or not! Here’s some pics. I probably need to get better ones. Maybe you can tell me if I am missing any?

Let me know what you would like to see. I haven't cleaned up anything under the hood or underneath yet. And I am not going to do much but knock off the dust. It will be a few days before I can get good pics underneath.

One thing I thought was odd. There is no under hood insulation on the car. Original owner says there never was any! Are there other known cases of 70 Z’s not having hood insulation?

What a great find, and I can’t wait to see more pictures. Also the throttle return spring looks interesting. I look forward to learning more about, and from your car. Thanks for posting.

Throttle return spring is incorrect! When the car was about six months old, the carburetor was stolen off the car. GM was on strike and the original owner couldn’t buy one from GM. So he went to the neighborhood speed shop and asked if they had a generic Holley carburetor that would work on his car. Speed shop guy came back with his stolen carburetor! The fuel line was cut in the exact same spot where his fuel was still cut on the car! So he got the original carb back! There is a rubber hose where the gas line was cut. I assumed that the throttle spring was lost at that time!

Looks almost like the original green spring stretched way out, like they missed the tang on the bracket.
