Default ‘70 440-6 Sport Fury GT Lost and Found

The found picture is everything I remember about growing up car watching in Minnesota (see license plate), and is likely not a small part of how my planned 3 or 4 years in Seattle has turned into 30+, lol.

Mopars and the tin worm go together like peas and carrots especially in the northern regions. Always loved the '70 Sport Fury GT's. Beautiful to say the least. The Mopar C bodies have been underappreciated for so long. Nice to see them getting some love these days.

My wife refers to that body style of 2 door Chrysler products as "Quarter Panel Kings", for good reason

666 Fury GTs in 1970, with reports of 64-70 of those having the 440-6bbl.

Appears to have never left Minnesnowta. THAT will be a challenge to save enough of the inner structure to rebuild back from.

For many, many years, every month in Hemmings Motor News, someone in PA has had a "wanted" ad for one of these, 70 or 71 Sport Fury or Sport Fury GT with the 440-6 engine.
