Default 1969 Z/28 Camaro for sale

1969 Z/28 Camaro for sale. NOM DZ 302, NOM M22. Very nicely restored. Inherited by a friend after long term ownership by his brother. I am helping the family sell as they are not "car people". Unusual but high quality paint. Will be inspecting in person the week of 8/18 so I can get pictures of anything required. Full binder on restoration but I have not seen it yet.
Currently located in Fairfield County Connecticut. Asking $85k. Will update this post as I acquire new info. Will post vids of it running and driving. [email protected]

Nice. And, I haven't seen one of those over-the-hump litter bin basket things since 1986!

Sorry, just responded. I don't come here daily an almost never received a note through the forum so it was not natural to look for one. I will check for your comments and DM response and my email is included in the OP if you prefer. LMK if you need anything else.

Thanks, Tom

Tried messaging back but I have no confidence that it actually worked. Maybe there is a time delay? Anyway, here is a copy of the response:

Hi Eddie,

Thanks for the note. This car needs nothing. It is in perfect mechanical condition, is registered, and is driven every Sunday (I told my buddy to do this to keep it fresh). I drove it personally for an hour in August and it runs great. You might want to consider adding power steering as it is currently manual. I am 6'3", 240 and turning the wheel was interesting! It has been color changed, was originally frost green with green vinyl top and green interior. It has a Gardner chambered exhaust system. Those chrome pipes on the back pop right off, they are only there to route exhaust gases away from the paint. Owner was meticulous. The engine is a stock DZ 302 but is NOT numbers matching. The interior is really well done. Everything works. The restoration was done in the 1994-1996 time frame and included floors, fenders and quarters. I am slowly making my way through the box of receipts we found with the car. Looks like the trans is a brand new (in 94) M22. This car was well loved and owned by my buddy's brother for over 30 years. Very similar to my first Z/28. Let me know if you need any other info.

Thanks,

Tom
