While the transmission took a bit longer than anticipated, it is done and on the way back. I should have it Monday. The blocker rings on 2nd and 3rd were toast, and the front bearing was not all to healthy. 2nd gear itself did not look too bad, but elected to replace it with an NOS unit. Surprisingly, the shafts were MINT! Tom expressed some concern over that if the car was used as intended. With a little luck, this should be back in service EOD Monday, or Tuesday morning.
I still see spots of undercoating
I forgot how much Tom likes to use gasket sealer to dress the gaskets. At this point, what's a little more clean up work??
