I owned a 78 Z-28 Camaro, bought brand new. Lot of fun also with a 4 speed, 3.73 gear posi, performance suspension. That 350 L48 engine was a dog, as you stated the handling was great with that perf suspension.

About 10 year ago I had a red on black, 74 Z28, Type LT...numbers match, all original, with A/C. Decent driver condition. Another car I wish I kept, instead of turning it over for a little profit.

Even the engine, (with A/C...Rare in these parts) looked to be original.
