Stamp doesn't look kosher to me. The only anomalies I have seen were with the Los Angeles built E-bodies. They used slightly different fonts on the fender tags and engine/trans. But the VIN stamp on those would start with an E not a B. I had a 70 440+6 Cuda that was an early Los Angeles car that began with BS23VOE. This blue car would be JS23V0B159909 so that rules out it being an Los Angeles car. B is the Hamtramck assembly plant.
I've also never seen a radiator core VIN stamping that deep and sharp. |
