----One funny deal was Stretch's 65 396 blue roadster. He wanted to buy something else so I bought his 396. Kept it at Classic for the winter and then sold it back to him. Don't know if I even sat in it!....LOL.
---- The 66 full comp Cobra was actually a 65, and my cousin, Dave, was the 2nd owner. It had great racing history, but Dave never raced it. He offered it to me in late 69, but I couldn't come up with the needed cash ($5,500 I believe). Many years later the day I started work at Classic Richard asked me if I had a cousin named Dave that owned a Cobra. I said yes, and he told me he had just bought it.
