Jim,
Yes I remember now. Weren't you working on a 68 Z that was all apart ? Is it back together now ? Kibby had you contact me since mine is all together. I have known Kibby since 1970. He had a Black LS6 70 Chevelle then, and I rode in that car back in the day ! My car was originally Sequoia Green. When I bought it in 1988 it was dark purple. In 1990 I stripped the car and painted it Artic white with black stripes. It remained that way for 28 years, then in 2018 I had it repainted back to original Sequoia Green. I'm now on a mission to make all the parts correct and date codded. Almost there. |

Yes, I got the Car out of Paint Jail in Dec 2024. Target to Finish July 2025.
I need to do a Members ride write up on this site for it. I am glad to hear you have made progress on your journey back to delivery-Color-Trim -Etc. Jim

Still looking for this alternator. I spent two days walking around the Portland Swap Meet and Expo Swap meet. No luck. I have a "saved search" on eBay for it as well. I was referred to someone here that has one, but its the wrong date code for my car.

Hello. Joined the registry a few months ago. .
I'm looking for a 1100814 Delco alternator, date code 7H 10 for my 68 Z/28. My Z/28 was just certified by Jerry MacNeish a month ago. This alternator is the only part needed to complete all the correct date coded parts on the car. If you know of one, let me know. I'm in Oregon. |
