This car was, ahem, "restored"  25 years ago and the cover, although not rusted, had been painted black with no galvanized left underneath.
On this one it's a rear antenna coaxial only. The Maroon convert has wiring for rear speaker and power top ran through that cover. |
Sorry Bill, I didn’t intend to call out anyone as I assumed that cover was originally galvanized, but I was just curious.
I really enjoy seeing your collection of Chevrolets, restored and survivors.
PS, I have a fondness for the White on Red long top.
