Assembly line filter are an ongoing debate among ODs and Pontiac restorers. Unlike Chev who appear to have used a black stencil AC filter for assembly line only,Olds and Pontiac are unknown. Olds engines appear to have heavy overspray on the filter at engine assembly and were not identifiable like the Chev ones.
As your Firebird is a 1999 the blue filters were likely all the same. In you photo I don’t see any paint in the area, your filter may be the original.
