I was young and impressionable during the pro-street era... really loved those cars at the time, but my tastes have changed and I'm right there with you on the Day 2 style now!

I went to High School with Fred's kids. When I was 16 (1998) we were the only ones driving cool old cars to school, so I'd park my Chevelle or my Dad's 68 Camaro next to the '71 Barracuda convertible that they were driving. That car was B5 (or maybe the darker B7 blue?) and it had a white top and white interior. I believe they sold it to the studio for the Nash Bridges TV show.
