Sadly, that is what most of the first gen subframes look like... even on a lot of the "restored" cars. I have never understood why you wouldn't address that if you already have the frame off and you are doing all the other work. Frame metal is much easier to work with than sheet metal, and way easier to weld. On this car, I don't know for a fact that they had the frame off; but the ad says "completely restored example"... I would have to disagree. Still a car I would love to own. But then, I want one of almost everything. Just my two cents. And yes,
