Thank you everyone and especially to Steve for posting this and for hosting a Certification judging venue for the best preserved musclecars!!
For several years I looked at a lot of '67 Chevelle's searching for that just right pure survivor. This green car is very brief on options, but it checked all my boxes without reservation. One of my peeves on survivor cars is rattle can spray under the hood. This Chevelle escaped that, the only thing under hood not original assembly line is the battery and has been a reference point for other '67 Chevelle's. There are traces of orange paint on the VC gaskets, they have likely never been off. I gave consideration to taking it out to Gary Riley for ice blasting the underside, but the undercoat is specified on the sales invoice. So in my mind it needs to stay. - Bill W |
