Interesting that this 67 red coupe alone went for $3.52m and the pair (first 67 and last 69) went for $2.58m.

As I understood it, the only thing original on the black 67 was the VIN tag and Trim tag........and maybe some of the bridcage

Maybe I'm all wet,,, but IIRC isn't the '67 the one that was heavily race modified when new including cutting down the A pillar, then restored to stock, then restored to race trim again, then back to stock...again??

Or do I have that story all wrong??

Yes you are correct. It had "A" pillars like a Grand Sport and a short windshield when raced.
