Yes, I talked with Rick/owner of Sabettaclassics and after lengthy discussion put $500 on the car so he pulled the ebay listing. The prior owner had it for 30 years and did a 'to the metal' restoration off a solid car in 2011. All original panels, floors etc.. I intend to see it 'in the flesh' next week. I am also, talking to him about buying my '69 Camaro which will have to go to make room for this one.

so the deal is done. I bought the GTO and they bought my Camaro. Pretty much an exchange of funds, other than the $900 it will cost to get it transported to my home in Raleigh and whatever the state of NC is going to charge for registering it here. Should arrive on Monday. Looking at the empty space in the garage brings some sadness. Kind of like loosing a girlfriend. Weird huh?

Nope, not at all. I'm sure many of us have had the same feeling. It'll go away once the GTO arrives
