It's a well-written feature with one odd aspect to it. There is a photo of the shift lever captioned:
"That shifter might not seem special, until you realize that this was the first ZL-1 built with a four-speed manual transmission." It is mentioned again in the body of the article. No idea why that matters, for the record it is not true. Don's car is ZL-1 #11 N609016 final assembled March 5, 1969. Berger ZL-1 #3 N608193 final assembled March 4, 1969 was the first 4-speed ZL-1. It is also the first ZL-1 Camaro ordered.
