If you aren't looking to make an exact replica, the NiCopp stuff is REALLY easy to work with. When I did the engine swap in my 49 Studebaker farm truck, I bought a couple of those to relocate the front brake lines.
I did a search and cannot find a definitive answer regarding country of origin; so I assume China. They do meet the necessary SAE standards (at least NiCopp brand does). That's what they sell at O'Reilly's. https://www.agscompany.com/products/...per-brake-line
