"I’m not overly happy with those door panels based on the placement of the window crank. I’m thinking after all is said and done and then car is disassembled for paint, I may install power windows to eliminate the regulator and move a “dummy” crank handle to the correct position allowing me to make another arm rest to the proper length. I know they make switches that you can mount a window crank on which gives the appearance of the manual window yet is the power window switch under it. We’lll see."

How much trouble would it be to make the window crank be the power window switch? Maybe you could put contacts inside the door panel so that if you move the crank up a little bit the window goes up and move down to lower the window. Just a thought.

That’s exactly what I’m going to do. They make those switches and that will be the plan, but not immediately. I’m starting on the A-pillar trim today along with the hardtop

Thanks for the kind words, and no the Ferrari isn’t running yet! But I might have started the parts purchasing on that one for the future start date. But before that, the Vette will get some love

Cheers
Dave
