Cool article...Mark Buick was one of my customers back in the day
 The 455 Buick was a real torque monster...12 second ET's for a car that weighed around 3800 lbs. is pretty good. -wilma

1973 Buick Riviera GS Stage 1 Road Test, Hi Performance Cars February 1973
I've seen a few GS Riviera's over the years but never knew you could get them with a Stage 1 455, apparently they made 1234 of them in 1973.

1969 GS Stage 1 Convertible
Buicks Stage 1 engines were powerful torque monsters which were needed to propel the intermediate models to some very impressive ETs. The owner Jim sums up Buick performance " going fast with class". A rare car, one of only 212 built as configured.
