THANK YOU.** “I’ve consulted with Coyote Bullet expert Barry Greenzweig regarding this example and would like to thank him for the information he provided. ” – Marc Schiliro This classic 1990 Coyote Bullet Racing Go-Kart is a superb example of an unused kart that was slightly customized during its long term ownership history. Wayne Wispelaere founded KIM Associates in 1972 and in 1976 the company would become Coyote Products. Its leading chassis model was the Coyote “Bullet”. With the help of his brother Ed, Wispelaere started the business working out of his garage and basement. In the early 1990’s Wispelaere moved Coyote Products into a state-of-the-art building in Spencerport, NY. Coyote Products success has come in the WKA Gold Cup Series. The team won eight consecutive WKA Manufacturer championships in the Gold Cup from 1997 to 2004. Wispelaere and his chassis was also a mainstay in endure-style road racing. Some of the earliest endure kart designs were Coyotes Products and the manufacturer won the Road Racing Manufacturer title in 2002. Mark and Jim Lipari purchased the building from Wispelaere in 2007 and the father-son duo continues to operate Coyote at the same location today as Bullet Industries, DBA Coyote Motorsports. MS CLASSIC CARS purchased this example from the second owner in June of 2023. This is the first time it’s been listed for sale. As stated in the opening paragraph, it’s selling on a Bring-A-Trailer online auction with NO RESERVE! From the information gathered this example (serial #KIC90) and a matching example were purchased from Coyote Products as a pair by a father and son in 1990. This example (serial #KIC90) was the fathers Kart that he never used. During his time ownership he did slightly customize it with new parts which is very common. It was enjoyed as a display piece for the next 26 years before he sold it in 2016 to a gentleman who lived in Miller Place, NY. This gentleman was a vintage Go-Kart enthusiast who purchased it as a display piece. MS CLASSIC CARS purchased it from the second owner. To be clear, this example has never been used since new including no fuel in the system. The beautifully designed chassis was powder coated black from the factory with Coyote Bullet stickers. The original front bumper was replaced with a larger new chrome bumper. The original side Nerf Bars were also replaced with a wider new chrome replacements. The original Azusa Engineering round steering wheel was replaced with a new chrome Butterfly steering with black hand grips. It’s equipped with the original Digatron Instruments “Tech Temp” gauges. A red kill switch was attached to the chrome bar. The custom installed original fiberglass seat was covered with a new Azusa Engineering black leather cover. The original plastic fuel tank also has Coyote Bullet stickers. It’s powered by the original Yamaha KT-100 engine. This 97.6cc single-cylinder 2-stroke engine is rated with 15HP @ 10,000 RPM. The KT-100 is a simple and rugged air-cooled engine that uses piston-ported intake induction with a Walbro WB-3A carburetor. The KT-100 is a popular high-performance two-stroke kart racing engine. It’s equipped with original PKS Manufacturing motor mount and throw out bearing. It’s also equipped with the original Horstman (DXL) Pro Open Disc Clutch. It sits on the original Van-K natural brushed aluminum wheels. The wheels are wrapped with the original Bridgestone tires which are 4.5-10.0-5 on the front and 7.1-11.0 on the rear. The brake master cylinder and rear disc setup have original instruction stickers. **PLEASE CALL MS CLASSIC CARS OWNER MARC SCHILIRO FOR A VERY ACCURATE VERBAL DESCRIPTION OF THIS GO-KART** **THIS GO-KART HAS NEVER BEEN USED SINCE IT WAS ASSEMBLED. IT WAS USED AS A DISPLAY PIECE. IF THE NEW OWNER DECIDES TO RUN AND OPERATE THE MACHINE IT WILL BE AT THEIR DISCRETION.** ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
