You were SIX in 1953 ??!! Holy crap, you're OLD...

I was only 1... and the only brand of car my dad had until 1988 was Chevrolet.
I have had Buick's and Pontiac's,

and 3 Fords, yes, I'm a slow learner... but have always come home to Chevrolet...

My dad told me he and my uncle went to see their first '53 Corvette, in the showroom at Applegate Chevrolet in Flint.

Made quite an impression on both of them.
