I just looked at the actual auction. The trim tag is also loose with no rivets???? Later it’s attached and hurried in paint but it was clearly off.

If you look closely, it is in a stack with other tags. It could be from any vehicle. The same seller sold another '65 Convert earlier this month too. Must be a profitable little side line building cars from trim tags and making vin plates to match. I left a comment last night too, but I had to register and as a first time poster, it was going to be looked at before going live. I'm sure it never got posted.
