Drive across, throw it in the car, go shopping, lunch whatever....
Drive back across 3-4 hours later, they may not even ask you about it. Buy something that you want and take your chances... All they will do is make you pay the duty, if they ask you about it .... Used parts for an antique car. It's not a big deal. You can do it all yourself, you don't need a broker. |

After I did some more looking online, I see I can just go across the border and get it myself.
Fortunately I was able to find one of the plexiglass roof bubbles for my car on this side of the Atlantic. My option is to have one air freighted from Germany and I don’t even want to know what the crate, freight and insurance cost would be for that. Thank’s again guys. |
