If the original engine is gone, like Kurt said, it's junk. Just give it a respectful ending and crush what is left. I don't agree that it should be kept as is and displayed. For what purpose ? To prove there are people who will hold onto a vehicle until there is nothing left to save, rather than sell, or give it away, so someone could have saved it 25 yrs ago ?
No, someone will buy it for the tags and title and resurrect with all replacement parts as an "investment grade, numbers matching" Indy car and try to sell it for a fortune in a couple years. This pattern has become predictable with once valuable cars that have been left to rot to nothing.
