Thank you all for the birthday wishes. This year it happens to be on the same day as Father's Day, so no way are we attempting to battle the out-for-dinner crowds! Maybe in a couple days.
One of Marilee's Facebook friends had a post titled "Social Networking Back In The Day" (or something to that effect) where a group of guys was either pulling or installing an engine. Marilee tagged on by posting this picture of me and some friends doing a similar thing on my mom's driveway back in 1973 where I'm preparing to install the engine and trans in the 69 Z28 I bought to go drag racing with. That's me bent over actually doing some work, my uncle in the red & gray striped sweater, and Marilee with the long blue sweater. As you can see, I have lots of moral support and there were helping hands when it came time to set it all in place in the car. M22 trans, Borg Warner Power Brute clutch & pressure plate boxes on the ground.
