Default My Favorite Kind of Plane...

This was taken at our camp in the Adirondacks...the pilot is Tom Payne, Payne's Air Service, Inlet, NY. He and his dad run a float plane business out of 7th Lake...flying with these guys is better than gong on the space shuttle.

The plane in the photo is a Cessna 206 Station Air....they also have a 185 Skywagon. The Station Air has a longer body and is a little wider interior...we can haul a lot of gear in that baby.

Will be flying with these boys in a couple of weeks.

Not on the same scale as Rick's adventures in the P-51, but got to play with this Chipmunk yesterday. Gave it a good bath and taxied it around to familiarize myself with the cockpit/controls. Plans are to get checked out in it this month.
