Wow: info is coming out today that Dodge had completely closed the Hellcat Charger and Challenger widebody ordering for the remainder of 2022 and will be (hopefully) opening up the 2023 ordering season way early, in about a month. And that they may be cancelling a bunch of orders from the past 30 days that dont have VINs already assigned.

Ouch!

Here's that original message to the dealers from last week that started it all:

Latest update:

04/01/2022: Call with SRT Helpline indicated that the car is still in KZ status at storage yard. He also confirmed the rumor about the 2022 orders being shut down and 2023's to be open for ordering next month.

04/01/2022: Noon, Windshield Sticker popped up on the Dodge website which indicates that the car has been invoiced to the dealer.

And the April incentives at Dodge just posted and they are the same as March: $1000 off or 0% financing for 36 months.

So, I can take the extra $1000 incentive and finance at the dealer's Chrysler Capital rate (which is NOT the 0%) for at least three months and then refinance or pay it off.

So the car ends up being (before taxes/title/regs) at just under $10,000 less than the MSRP on the sticker.
