i have yet to see a good repro walnut or rosewood wheel, maybe they have improved recently

If it's decent, it's good enough for me and for what I'm doing. A super nice original for a proper restoration is hard to find as they all seem to have a flaw, and I'm not paying those prices either. It's bad enough the prices we have to pay for stuff as it stands right now. Besides that, from what I'm seeing, it doesn't even really matter if a car is restored with some repop stuff, or a lot of repop stuff, they are still selling for crazy money either way.
