Thanks for the explanation. I thought I remembered that's what might be going on. Yes the Walnut wheel has been reproduced for a while. D and R has had them for at least a year that I know of, but they aren't referred to as Walnut, they are just referred to as the 1st design. So I was assuming they are referring to the Walnut version, and the 2nd design the Rosewood version, even though they call both of them Rosewood I don't believe the description is completely accurate, especially since the pictures used are exactly the same, lol.

I'll have to make a phone call and confirm before I order, just thought I'd mention it here thinking someone with an early 69 might have gone through this already.
