My buddy has '70 LS6 green/green auto we bought off the forum years ago... its a crowd pleaser because it doesn't have stripes. A black car would look sinister without stripes

It seems like these days no one cares much for documents or history if it’s got cool options wether it was born with them or not no one cares. If it had tach gauges cowl hood and a center console it would get that much more attention I think

I'm a purist..........sometimes. Depends on the car. In my case my Carolina Blue Chevelle is a 72 SS. A 72 will never bring 70 money so it's not like a high dollar car anyway. Besides I'll never sell, I've owned it 35 years and it's always been my hotrod. However nothing has been done that can't be reversed. I did stay with the special paint theme (no paint code) and put a 72 vette only color on it so it's still true to the spirit of things.

My 69 RS Z is a different story. When I restore it, it'll be a flat hood and no spoiler Z as it was when new, and the Frost Green will go back on it.

I would paint it green and change the trim tag to match.
