That Carolina Blue looks much better with the stripes, it accents the black top well and breaks things up. The before and after pics really brings that home. My opinion, and obvious from the pole numbers here, the stripes are preferred and would likely make that an easier sell when the time comes.
 Mine is originally Carolina Blue, no stripes, but also no vinyl top (hardtop) so there was nothing to break it up at all. It was just way too much of that blue, I couldn't stand it and no one else liked it either. At a minimum it needed stripes but I couldn't even bring myself to put Carolina Blue back on it when I repainted it last fall.
