One of the 96 with less than 1/2 accounted for or considered the real deal. Shown at MCACN took home the Gold as well as best Oldsmobile.
There are of course more fakes and clones than real cars. This one is unique in many ways, but is also a W27 aluminum rear end car. Records show that less than 400 of these rear ends ever made it into production "W" machines. It was offered here for sale prior to selling at the Russo and Steele auction in California. |
