Classic car market has officially jumped the shark. That thing will be for sale for $25,000 when the market adjusts. Comical.

The Lemans blue '69 Z/28 went for $147,500

I'm pretty sure that's not a deluxe interior ! Was this car really a '2016 MCACN Concours Gold' winner ?

Hate to say it but check out the trim tag on T201. FAKE

How would you like to pay nearly 150k for a fake Z?

Or, pay 300k last year for a fake silver COPO?

Simply amazing.

The new owner of that car may or may not care but do a search on the VIN.
A few posts uncover alot of fraud on this car.

VIN 124379N561026

Around 2008 this car surfaced as a z28 for sale after it was sold on ebay as a X55 SS350.

Then someone decided to Flattened out the 55 and make it a 77 over it.
They didnt like that so they had a repop tag made up using the same body number 206120
Looks like the current auction cowl tag is another repop using NOR206120 but is X33D80. 12B. 71-B

So this car was a 72-B X55, then and is now a71-B X33D80 and sold for $148,500 plus premium. WTH??

Is the VIN 124379N581026 or 124379N561026? The sticker in the window appears to show the latter. I noticed the fake trim tag when I was looking at the pictures online. It's not the only Camaro in that collection with a fake tag.

I have not an ounce of sympathy for these buyers. I’m sorry but it’s really easy to find reputable people in the hobby to verify or authenticate any of these cars.
