Did the 2 traction bar setup on the Firebirds actually work? The Camaro single square certainly doesn’t.

I believe the 2 bars helped more than just the one, but didn't alleviate the problem. As time and evolution proved, the bars need to be under the springs, or be a ladder configuration, to prevent the spring wind up and release cycle that causes the hopping.
